Laugh, Dance, Be Fit!

On February 22^nd, 2009 I competed in a regional Miss Teen Alberta - World beauty pageant in hopes to make it to the Miss Teen Canada - World Nationals in July. I placed in the Top 13 of Alberta and in doing so I received the title of Miss Teen Beaumont- World. I was invited to compete for the title of Miss Teen Canada-World which will be held this July, in Toronto, Ontario.

I am very excited to be representing my hometown in this National pageant. Each delegate must have a platform; my platform is to promote an active and healthy lifestyle amongst younger generations. It is also a requirement that all delegates raise $400.00 or more for the charity “Free the Children” within a six week period.

Using my background knowledge, and teaching experience of dance, I have decided that I would hold a 4 week dance/fitness camp (for the month of June) which will promote my platform, raise funds for a great charity and be a wonderful experience for everyone involved! This is a great opportunity to support a fantastic charity!
